Here’s one for the days when you feel like everything’s gone wrong, and you’d like to wallow a bit. A good soundtrack for a bad breakup.

Sublight: “Happy Ending” DJ set
Another slice of joy, combining classic rave tracks with a bit of Mancunian 90’s pop – this was the soundtrack to an alternative reality that sadly didn’t happen. For what actually happened, listen to “Not-so-Happy-Ending” sometime. Enjoy the possibility.
Sublight: “Headfuq” DJ set
What’s that you’re smoking? What’s that you’re learning?
Franco B & Sublight Live at Komasket Music Festival 2004
Franco B was short his tour DJ so I was filling in that summer – the man has an amazing talent for freestyling and used to do it with great regularity and ferocity. This performance at the Komasket Music Festival in 2004 showcases his work and a bunch of freeestyles.
Sublight: “Nostealgic” DJ set
Some 80’s and 90’s tracks mashed together with some breaks and such. Somewhere between nostalgia and stealing.
Sublight: “30th Level of Hell” DJ set
A look into the mirror, the reflection of what was, and as such, what will be.
Sublight: “The War on Treble” DJ set
Part Two of the War On Common Sense(tm) trilogy.
Sublight: “Mass Raves” DJ set
Part One of the War On Common Sense(tm) trilogy.
Sublight: “Ghetto Blasted” DJ set
Soundtrack for a wake & bake morning?
Sublight: “Do You Realize??” DJ set
Here’s a set that wraps up some of the most lovely (and deep) tracks of the prior decade (and a bit) and then pushes forward into the funky, heavy future we all deserve. It’s hard not to love The Flaming Lips, and it’s especially hard not to love anyone with the surname Hardkiss, so this (Scott) Hardkiss remix of “Do You Realize??” leads the cavalcade of love, followed by a massive stack of quality releases that have moved us all – or if you’re new to this – will move you now (ass or soul – your call which gets the most exercise). Enjoy.
